Vikings Declare Official Designation For Justin Jefferson

The Minnesota Vikings have been hit by the injury bug this season, as they have seen quarterback Kirk Cousins go down with a season-ending torn Achilles

Jefferson hasn’t played since Week 5 because of his hamstring ailment, yet somehow the Vikings have gone on a five-game winning streak without him.

Now, with Joshua Dobbs taking over under center, they need Jefferson more than they previously did.

Fortunately for them, he has been upgraded to questionable for this Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, per Ian Rapoport.

Before his injury, Jefferson was considered by many to be the best wide receiver in the NFL, and he has 571 receiving yards

His ability to stretch the field vertically and make contested catches make him a very difficult cover for opposing defensive backs

In his absence, rookie wideout Jordan Addison has shown his own potential with 603 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games
