Johan Rojas Should Start 2024 MLB Season

The Philadelphia Phillies' second NLCS run was fueled by Johan Rojas' center field debut.

However, his awful plate performance throughout that period casts doubt on his big-league debut in 2024.

In July, the Phillies promoted Rojas from Double-A due to injuries. Dominican Republic native 23-year-old did better than predicted

He topped defensive runs saved while playing less innings than other outstanding defenders.

Like save and share

Johan Rojas became the Phillies' primary center fielder in the second half, but his batting inconsistency forced a decision.

They can either start him in the majors in 2024 or develop him in the minors.

The Phillies can afford to develop Rojas in the major leagues due to his other skills and a strong lineup.
